What is Speedcubing?

Speedcubing is the sport (and hobby) of solving twisty puzzles—most famously the Rubik’s Cube—as fast as possible using efficient methods, finger tricks, and practice.
Most people start with a 3×3 cube, then move on to other official events like 2×2, 4×4+, Pyraminx, Skewb, Megaminx, Square-1, and Clock. Speedcubers track times, improve their technique, and often compete at official competitions under the World Cube Association (WCA).
Whether you want to beat your personal best or try your first competition, speedcubing is a fun mix of logic, muscle memory, and measurable progress.
