Rubik’s Cube 3×3 MG3 Ai Smart Cube (Monster Go) — smart magnetic cube with phone connectivity

MG3 Ai Smart Cube is a 3×3 smart cube from Monster Go (a GANCUBE line) that tracks every move and sends data to the app via Bluetooth.
The cube size is 56×56×56 mm, weight about 81 g, and inside it has 48 magnets for a stable feel. Power is supplied by a replaceable CR1632 battery, with up to ~280 hours of active use.

Important: this cube is not allowed at official WCA competitions — it is intended for learning, practice and online battles at home.

Turning feel and mechanism

In feel, MG3 Ai is very close to the regular magnetic MG3 Magnetic:

the turning is light and fairly fast, with confident but not harsh layer snapping;
48 internal magnets help the layers align cleanly and reduce overshoots;
the cube feels “solid” but not heavy — comfortable for long practice sessions.

It’s a solid “workhorse” magnetic speedcube: not a top-end GAN flagship, but more than enough for learning, casual speed and analysis.

Connectivity and compatibility

MG3 Ai connects to devices via Bluetooth:

Smartphone / tablet

connects to the official Cube Station app (iOS / Android);

GAN Robot

the cube is supported by the GAN Robot base — you can have it scramble/solve automatically, train and review solutions.

Officially, the cube is designed to work within the GAN ecosystem (Cube Station + GAN Robot).
PC connection is usually done via emulators or third-party tools, at the user’s discretion.

App features and “smart” functions

Through Cube Station, MG3 Ai can:

transmit in real time:
- solve time;
- number of moves;
- TPS (turns per second);
- solution smoothness/fluency;
show a full move-by-move replay so you can analyse mistakes and weak spots;
teach beginners step-by-step how to solve the cube via built-in lessons;
run online battles with other players close to your level;
keep a history of solves and progress: time graphs, averages, personal bests.

This turns the cube into a real trainer: you don’t just “turn it for fun”, you see concrete numbers and can deliberately improve your technique.

With normal hobby use this lasts a very long time. When the battery is empty, you can replace it yourself.
