YJ MGC Square-1 V2 UV — flagship magnetic Square-1 with refined mechanism and glossy UV coating

YJ MGC Square-1 V2 UV is the long-awaited successor to one of the most popular Square-1 puzzles in recent years. This version features a reworked internal mechanism and an optimized magnet layout in the edges and corners, giving much better layer alignment, stability and control at speed. On top of that, it comes with a UV-coated finish that improves grip and gives the puzzle a premium, glossy look.

The cube uses moderate-strength magnets, an airy, lightweight piece design and a modern form factor that feels very comfortable in the hand. Out of the box it is around 56 × 54 × 54 mm in size and weighs about 98 g, which is ideal both for long practice sessions and for competition use.

There are versions with a standard yellow top and with a black top side, which some speedcubers prefer for faster color recognition during high-TPS solves.
