This puzzle is fully magnetic and uses around 208 magnets in total: 204 small magnets inside the gears and dials plus 4 large magnets inside the pins. All dials, pins and rings are magnetized, which gives the clock very precise movement and a stable feel during speedsolves.

On the outside, QiYi uses intricate inlays instead of simple printed graphics, and the wheels are rounded for finger comfort, helping to avoid scraping during fast turning. The clock can be tensioned via four screws and opened easily for lubrication and maintenance when needed.
